Visit us on FacebookMichiana Rocketry is all about the excitement of LAUNCHING rockets.
The rockets flown at our sport launches are model rockets to high power and everything in between. Michiana Rocketry is registered as Prefect #78 of the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA) and registered as section #721 of the National Association of Rocketry (NAR). All high power flights, H and above, require a valid TRA or NAR membership card.
Our family oriented launches are open to the general public to fly or watch rockets. We follow a set of strict safety rules and our current FAA waiver is 16,000' (MSL). Our primary launch field is East of Three Oaks, MI in several square miles of corn fields. We hold our monthly launches November through April when the fields are open. Our club supports Academic Teams and Groups, offers High Power Certification mentorship and state of the art launch equipment. Look forward to seeing you on the field! — Ted Schaetzle
